Lil Freya B Cerretani (Freya the paint horse) and Cowboy Charlie Taylor's (Charlie the sorrel horse) Story:
Freya arrived on November 15th, 2024 at the age of 16 emaciated from years of neglect. In 2 years she has gained over 300 lbs., trusts us and is living her best life. She is kind, patient, and a beautiful soul. Read her full story here. Charlie arrived on April 19th, 2025 at the age of 7 with a broken back and face, and fearful of everything. In the last 1.5 years he has done some healing inside and out. He is gentle, has a young attitude, and is a free spirit. Read his full story here.
When Charlie arrived, I put him in his own area for several weeks in quarantine. This is a very common, and smart, way to make that if he is sick, you can treat and contain it within his own paddock and not spread anything to the rest of the herd.
Freya and Charlie would stare at each other and even talk across the fence. Once his quarantine was over, I wanted to introduce him to one horse and then gradually introduce him to the whole BLP's clan. I was going to choose sweet Yoshi but my instincts said to chose Freya, so I did. This is a very special photo. This is the very first time they went nose to nose and they have never been apart since. They eat out of the same bucket, sleep together, groom each other, touch shoulders when eating from the hay hut, share a stall, and so much more. They are a bonded pair for sure.
After watching this amazing relationship blossom I decided to do a fun fundraiser to get these babies hitched. Yes, Freya is robbing the cradle...she is 10 years his senior. LOL!
We are doing it up right with wedding attire on the horses, both Title Sponsors walking their babies down the isle and dad giving Freya "away", a REAL ordained minister (who is also our horse vet) will be the officiant, decorations, snacks, wedding favors for our guests, professional photographer, and MORE!

- ZOOM: This is for EVERYONE so pass the word! We guarantee there WILL BE some horsing around. LOL! It is only $20 per household for you to watch the wedding LIVE! I am sure it will be a riot! Please know that we are NOT professional videographers, we are volunteers putting on a crazy wedding for horses. No refunds! LOL! WHAT COULD GO WRONG? LOL
