Volunteer
Love horses? Love our men in Blue? Love HEROES?
If so, Blue Line Ponies, Inc is the place for you!!!
With busy lives, it can be hard to find time to volunteer. However, the benefits of volunteering can be enormous. Volunteering offers vital help to people in need, worthwhile causes, and the community, but the benefits can be even greater for you, the volunteer. The right match can help you to find friends, connect with the community, learn new skills, and even advance your career.
Giving to others can also help protect your mental and physical health. It can reduce stress, combat depression, keep you mentally stimulated, and provide a sense of purpose. While it’s true that the more you volunteer, the more benefits you’ll experience, volunteering doesn’t have to involve a long-term commitment or take a huge amount of time out of your busy day. Giving in even simple ways can help those in need and improve your health and happiness. We offer 3 main ways to help our retired ponies, we have no doubt that one of these will fit you. Please contact us at [email protected] with questions.

Volunteer
Volunteer projects can include feeding & watering horses, grooming, preparing daily supplements, removing manure and taking it to the landfill, keeping the ranch grounds tidy, among other things.
They do not need daily help at the moment so they will schedule a day to volunteer when your help is needed most. |
Your Resources & Research
They love solid referrals to vets, farriers, and other large animal care givers that offer free care for non-profits or will offer us discounts.
There are some feed, supply, equipment and tack stores that will freely supply a non-profit range "needs" or offer discounts. Do the research...reach out to them...make it happen! |
Stay at HOME and HELP
They also need volunteers to help with fundraising, marketing, social media, phone calls, grant research, etc. These non-physical jobs can be done on your own time and in lieu of being at the ranch.
This is the "behind the scenes" important work! |
